USB flash drive recovery by mail

The connector snapped off. Windows says “please insert a disk.” Your Mac wants to format it. The files are usually still on the memory chip, and we can get them off.

What we see every week

  • Snapped or bent USB connector
  • Not recognized by any computer
  • Asks you to format it
  • Shows 0 bytes or the wrong size
  • Files deleted or drive formatted
  • Got wet or crushed

How we get your data back

For a broken connector or board, we repair it at the board level so the drive can be read again. For corrupted or formatted drives, we image the drive and rebuild the files from the copy, never the original.

Don’t format the drive and don’t run free recovery tools on it. Every write makes recovery harder.

What it costs

From $89

Free diagnosis. Firm price before any work. No data, no fee.

How long it takes

Diagnosis within 24–48 hours of arrival. Most recoveries are done 2–5 business days after you approve.

Our promise

If we can’t get your data back, you don’t pay for the recovery. You only risk the cost of shipping it to us, and we pay for the trip home.

Common questions

My USB connector snapped off. Can you get the files?

In many cases, yes. We repair or replace the connector at the board level and read the drive.

My computer says it needs to be formatted. Should I?

No. Formatting can overwrite the information we need to rebuild your files. Unplug it and ship it.

How much does it cost?

USB recovery starts at $89. You get a firm price after the free diagnosis, and nothing is owed if we can’t recover your files.
